Golden Beach Motor Inn (The Sunshine Inn) Motel Caloundra has been operating for 25 years.
The motel is within a short walking distance to Caloundra’s shops, clubs and beaches. We are a short drive from Australia Zoo and the Glasshouse Mountains and perfectly situated as a base from which to explore the whole of the Sunshine Coast from Noosa to Bribie Island.

Our queen + single room consists of 1 queen bed and one king single bed in one room. Amenities include;

Located on the first floor, our double room consists of a double bed with an ensuite. Amenities include;
Staff are usually on site 7 days a week between 9am and 5pm to help with anything you may need. Please ask a member of Golden Beach Motor Inn motel Caloundra staff if you want to book something, for additional room servicing, for additional products for the room or for anything else you want. If you have a question and there’s no member of staff available then please call 07 5491 2344.
Golden Beach Motor Inn motel Caloundra have a policy of changing bed linen and towels after the 3rd night of a customer’s booking, if you want a change of towels, or anything else within this period, please ask and we will be happy to oblige.

If you want to leave Golden Beach Motor Inn motel Caloundra outside of when there is a member of staff on site, then please just leave your curtain open, the key on the side and pull the door too.

We are a small Motel and noise travels easily between rooms. Please be respectful of your neighbours and keep the TVs down in the rooms.
There is a strict no noise policy for outside the rooms after 8pm. Anyone creating a disturbance will be asked to leave immediately and the Police will be called if required.
Smoking is permitted at the table near the swimming pool. Ash trays and seats are provided. Please do not smoke outside the rooms and please do not drop cigarette butts on the ground for others to clean up.
There are strict laws and penalties for anyone caught smoking in the room.
Charges to the customer’s payment card will be made for damages made to any of the property of the Golden Beach Motor Inn motel Caloundra. If you have an accident please inform us as soon as someone is on site.
The Golden Beach Motor Inn motel Caloundra swimming pool is available between the hours of 9am and 6pm.
